This magician I think you will LOVE LOVE LOVE. He’s not like other magicians. He’s not… creepy.
I’m gobsmacked! He’s VERY good. VERY talented.

Meet MAGIC’S BEST card shark.
I can’t imagine there’s a magician on the face of the planet who could make him look ordinary.
Wizard of Oz.
James Galea has breathed new life into the art of magic.
A winning mix of bravado and youthful candor.
His tricks are as funny as they are slick.
An irresistible fusion of comedy and sleight of hand.
As fun as it is visually intoxicating.
James Galea has reinvented the art of trickery, taking it far from its traditional comfort zone.
Meet magic’s best card shark.
Sharp, Intelligent, Funny… Pure Entertainment.
I’m James. Over the past few years I’ve developed a life philosophy to spend every day having the best day ever. As a magician, writer, musician, traveler and lover of food, I’m always exploring new ways to help me do that.
When I was a kid I always wanted to live in Hollywood, travel on airplanes and stay in hotels, drive an old car and be met at an airport with my name on a sign (I thought that would be the coolest thing in the world). I get to do all that now - it’s awesome.
I live my dream daily. For now, that consists of a life mostly based in Los Angeles where I frequent diners and am in search of the world’s greatest doughnut (The fresh strawberry donut at Donut Man in Glendale is hard to beat).
I’m currently writing new shows for stage and television which I’m pumped to share with you - one is a musical about a magician I’m stupidly excited about (one of the songs was made into a short film which has just been release - you can watch here and the other is a new series combining magic, food, music and my favorite people. Also, I joined a band (of magicians)! You can see all of these on the projects page These things take a while to get up so stay with me on Twitter and Facebook and I promise to fill you in on all the latest. Also, you should check out my Instagram. I take heaps of pics (plenty of Abby) and love to share them with my friends.
I’m constantly told ‘You can’t have the best day ever EVERY day, it’s impossible and not sustainable’ - Well…aim high and you’ll be amazed at the results. The real secret to living the magic life, is to find the magic in everything.
Whenever I lose track of the bigger picture, I step back and think 'What would 15 year old James think of me now?' - I think he’d be absolutely stoked that life is so amazing and that every day is an adventure.
Thanks for being a part of my life. I hope we get to meet some day and share a #bestdayever.
